I cringe every time I throw away the plastic containers that hold crystal light or lemonade. So tonite I took the wrapper off one and covered it in checked paper. The containers are the perfect size to hold pens. What else could I put in it to make a cool gift?
Be honest, is this lame? I don't think I like the big piece of night of navy cardstock behind the roses...

Too funny. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what it was. I just started saving mine too. I keep thinking to myself, what can I do with these containers. I need to find something to do with them because it seems like such a waste to send them to the recycle center. Excellent project. Love it! TFS and for the inspiration.

This really is a good idea. It is so cute that I decided I had to make this my first post since joining SCS. Now I'll be buying Crystal Light for the containers! What a neat way to present a hostess gift!

Another great idea. I saved tons of frozen juice containers(plastic ones) and made pencil holders out of them. to keeo them intact I covered them with clear contact paper. good Mother's day or Father's day desk sets.
