I cringe every time I throw away the plastic containers that hold crystal light or lemonade. So tonite I took the wrapper off one and covered it in checked paper. The containers are the perfect size to hold pens. What else could I put in it to make a cool gift?
Be honest, is this lame? I don't think I like the big piece of night of navy cardstock behind the roses...

I think this is so unique and you are recycling!! Other items to put in it is miniature bath soaps, or bath beads. Add a bath sponge. I'm going to case this and start saving my containers, also. Have you thought of saving the small peanut cans? Really anything can be covered! Good Idea! Thumbs up for you!!

This is not lame! I have been saving these containers thinking I could use them some day and now, after seeing your work, I will see what I can come up with! Great job! Love the colors too!

Some ideas for what to give in them as gifts. Those flavored honey sticks for tea drinkers. Depending on the diameter of the container, maybe collectors cards for kids. How about making mini coookies and putting a stack in there. These would also be GREAT to decorate for those "kit" ideas like a "PMS survival kit" or a first aid kit or a "back to school kit". Small bath items are GREAT. What about mailing this as a mini care package for a kid in college dorm or military member overseas?

I love this! I love the idea of sending it as a survival kit. I have also been saving my international coffee cans. I havn't tried to cover one yet but I am sure that it will make a cute container for a gift certificate or something.
