Susan is our guest hostess for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, which you can find HERE.
She'd told me flower collage and I was waiting to read the challenge post before deciding where to go - but when my sister sent me the most beautiful wrapping paper (around a gift), I knew what I was going to do. I'll add a photo of the wrapping paper in the challenge thread.
I spent an hour or so snipping away at the paper and amassed a collection of flowers and leaves (and I used some of it on my third acrylic pour card too). DH requested that enough be left intact for him to make an origami vase from.
I brayered a piece of white card with black acrylic (because I wanted a little more texture and feel than just using black card) and when dry, stamped it with the Crackled Paint backgrounder using Delicata gold.
Then I arranged the flowers, and stuck them down with collage medium. Some of them are popped up a bit, I used Pinflair glue because DH had been using some on a repair job on his motorbike, and there was still some left in the syringe that I wanted to use up. I added a gold frame, and then finished it off with a couple of ladybirds cut from glossy black and red glitter paper.

goodness, Sabrina! Mrs Delany would so welcome this to the hallowed halls of her home! Thank you to your sis, for having exquisite taste in wrapping your gift in such a gorgeous paper. Again, Mrs D would approve! The black background with texture and the Delicata Gold is a masterful touch! There, but only for the eye that lingers. Amazing details and certainly to be treasured by the recipient.

Marvelous flower garden with it's in and out of the box framing. I like the bits of gold crackle in the bg paired with the narrow gold die cut frame. Well done on fussy cutting all those blooms.

Sabrina, I think I just broke my arm - it happened when I fell off my chair after reading you cut out, and then pasted all these precious flowers and leaves in place. As if that wasn't enough, you made an amazing background! Gorgeous creation, for a very, very lucky Teapotter.

Your fussy cutty skills are out of this world, and you captured the spirit of Mrs. D to the max. Rich, regal and elegant. I love all the added texture, including those ladybird wings. Such a great reuse of wrapping paper and I am inspired to start brayering cardstock.
