Susan is our guest hostess for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, which you can find HERE.
She'd told me flower collage and I was waiting to read the challenge post before deciding where to go - but when my sister sent me the most beautiful wrapping paper (around a gift), I knew what I was going to do. I'll add a photo of the wrapping paper in the challenge thread.
I spent an hour or so snipping away at the paper and amassed a collection of flowers and leaves (and I used some of it on my third acrylic pour card too). DH requested that enough be left intact for him to make an origami vase from.
I brayered a piece of white card with black acrylic (because I wanted a little more texture and feel than just using black card) and when dry, stamped it with the Crackled Paint backgrounder using Delicata gold.
Then I arranged the flowers, and stuck them down with collage medium. Some of them are popped up a bit, I used Pinflair glue because DH had been using some on a repair job on his motorbike, and there was still some left in the syringe that I wanted to use up. I added a gold frame, and then finished it off with a couple of ladybirds cut from glossy black and red glitter paper.

How beautiful this paper is, Sabrina, and we were thinking alike today, having the flowers as part of the frame. Awesome!!!

That wrapping paper is gorgeous Sabrina. The detail with the cracked BG is a wonderful touch too and it is framed beautifully. Some teapotter is going to just adore this card.

WOW Sabrina - this is gorgeous! You sure put much time and effort into this one - I don't know that I'd have the patience to cut out all those flowers. Your persaverence paid off though. A stunner!
This is amazing, Sabrina! What a wonderful job you did fussy cutting and arranging. I really like the texture of the black paint and the the stamp of the crackled paint. You are a young Delapny! Your husband is wrong! You just have all her flowers on one card, not just one! They do look like hers!
