Stamped my bird with DI, sponged, splattered with water and blotted. Stamped a bit of text on him and then fussy cut. On the bg I used a variety of sponging, stenciling, and stamping till I was satisfied. Spread some white gesso around the spot where I was going to put the bird, and sponged black DI and white pigment ink around the edges of the card. Splattered the panel with white paint, embossed the sentiment panel, and tore a piece of black cs for the grounding of the bird. Attached the "ground" first, and then the sentiment panel and bird (with dimensionals), and added a couple of enamel dots.

MESMERIZING, Maura. This is absolutely fabulous!!! Your background sponging, stamping, stencil and painting is just gorgeous, and your bird was the perfect addition, as well as the black fishtail to host your white embossed sentiment! I have had to look and re-look, and re-look again to study all the lovely details!
