Stamped my bird with DI, sponged, splattered with water and blotted. Stamped a bit of text on him and then fussy cut. On the bg I used a variety of sponging, stenciling, and stamping till I was satisfied. Spread some white gesso around the spot where I was going to put the bird, and sponged black DI and white pigment ink around the edges of the card. Splattered the panel with white paint, embossed the sentiment panel, and tore a piece of black cs for the grounding of the bird. Attached the "ground" first, and then the sentiment panel and bird (with dimensionals), and added a couple of enamel dots.

I literally gasped when I opened your gallery - all of the colors have my heart jumping for joy! The background on this beauty is wonderfully executed, and fits the entire design, including the sentiment, perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing!
