This is one of those cards that spontaneously erupted on my kitchen table. I was just going to experiment with sponging distress inks through a stencil...I didn't even choose a stencil. I often use the "lazy Francie technique of design" which means that I use whatever is left out on the kitchen table. After sponging inks through the stencil at an angle, I decided to cut it up with nesting rectangles. It was very uninspired and was headed toward the trash can when I decided to try one last attempt to resuscitate it. I attached the rectangles to a black card base and turned the middle rectangle upside down. When you have a busy bg, the only thing you can do is add black silhouette flowers. This only took 10 minutes, and it really is very simple...it is just a stenciled bg with die cut flowers. There needs to be a sub category under CAS cards for severely CAS challenged people like me. We could call it " CAS for the everything but the kitchen sink crowd". TEL, Francie

Oh my goodness Francie this is over-the-top fabulous magic. I always love reading your artistic process!!! I agree about a anti-CAS, maybe we could get a movement going. Xx

Don't the colours in this wonderful card just taken you right back to the flower power Seventies. Every colour of the rainbow - and a stunningly beautiful card. I love the silhouetted flowers and sentiment too. I am with you on the severely CAS challenged category too. he he he
