This was a quick card because I used a bg from my stash. I always make at least 2 of a bg because I usually think of something I wish I had done when I use the first piece. First I sponged white acrylic paint (thined with water) through a baroque stencil and a hexagon stencil. Then I sponged all different Distress inks over the white...it acts like a resist, only not as strong. I wanted more of a blurred look. Added some perfect pearl dots, a ribbon (rare for me since tying a, nice bow is about as challenging as running the Boston marathon), distressed the edges and added the die cut words. TGL, Francie

First of all, that bow is fabulous! I'm terribly bow challenged myself.
Your background is amazing, as usual! I love the way you use Perfect Pearls, why don't I ever remember to do that?

Your card and description always bring a smile, Francie and I share your struggle with bows! I limit mine to tiny ones. Yours looks beautiful. I love your use of vibrant color and your fabulous mixed media background! Your originality is amazing!

Francie, I always so look forward to your cards. You're the queen extraordinaire with color and design. This is fabulous. Love the addition of the ribbon. What a surprises to see ribbon on one of your creations. You made it work perfectly. I thought a lot about you and your boys this weekend. It's such a hard time for all of you right now. Peace, my friend.

I'm saddened, Francie. Let me tell you why. I can't believe this work of art hasn't received more comments. So I decided to do something about it. I'm leaving another comment about how extraordinary this card and those colors are. If the numbers don't go up tomorrow, Ill be back again to make things right.
