I was inspired by the photos and illustrations of the tall cedar trees, and also by the fact that the journal entry was about traveling in Washington and British Columbia (where I live).
I used a leftover piece of smooshed Inka Gold background from my UFO box, embossed in green the tall Tim Holtz trees and sentiment, and popped it up on fun foam.
The 6"x4" dimensions of the card really emphasized the tallness of the trees.

Susan, we have only cycled a bit of Canada and it was breathtaking! You captured it beautifully with the tall pines against your spectacular background! This is a perfect take on your inspiration!
