I was inspired by the photos and illustrations of the tall cedar trees, and also by the fact that the journal entry was about traveling in Washington and British Columbia (where I live).
I used a leftover piece of smooshed Inka Gold background from my UFO box, embossed in green the tall Tim Holtz trees and sentiment, and popped it up on fun foam.
The 6"x4" dimensions of the card really emphasized the tallness of the trees.

great take on the journal page, your shmoosed background really gives a feeling of the sunny cold days in BC perfect for the majestic trees in the foreground.

Your trees really pop against this cool background. Don't you just love having stuff like this around to play with?
