This was my 1st attempt at Watercolor Wash using a pear image. I did not have a pear die so drew my own pear on CS and then fussy cut to use as a template.
I drew a line with a mechanical pencil 1/2" below top edge and 2 1/2" below top edge. That gave me a 2" X 3" area to trace my pears.
I used the Wash technique that I learned today from an online watercolor class. This is my 1st time to take a watercoloring class online. I was very impressed. If you want more info you can pm or email me.
I was so happy the way my pears turned out. I could never have done this technique on my own.
Enjoy and happy stamping my friends. Hugs, Nancy

Oh, Nancy, how beautiful! You sure are learning a lot from this class, and I look forward to taking it myself when it's self paced. I love the colors and the simply elegant layout! Hugs, sweet friend, and what fun you all are having together!

Another poster was right---you are a natural at watercolor. Great card. I had been wondering about the on-line watercolor class. I think you have just convinced me.

Beautiful, Nancy and you HAND drew those? WOW! Love the soft wash you did on this. Think I may have to sign up for that! I've heard so many good things about it!

So this is where you were today, huh? Good for you because you're obviously an astute student. Love those pears. Glad you do, too. Perfectly marvelous, my friend. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for passing on the info. I may consider it once I know a little bit more about WC.
