I am still trying to get settled from our move to Tennessee but I needed to make a Mother's Day card. Today was the perfect time to do it. I am a bit rusty and I don't have my stamping room finished yet but I was able to pull a few things together to make it work.
CAS323 : Happy May
M - Marigold for Marilyn (MOM), markers, masking
A - Alcohol markers, Aqua colored ink
Y - Yellow
TLC532 : It's all about using a positive and a negative. I used the negative from a die and the positive from a punch. The tag die doesn't have a hole so the punch worked great for the challenge. I glued three punched circles together and adhered to the spot where the hole would be.

Oh, Irene, I am SO glad to see a new card in your gallery! It's beautiful, and you have NOT lost the touch! Beautifully done, and I love the negative of the tag die! Beautiful stenciling and beautiful flower and layout! Hugs, and so glad to see you again, my friend!

Beautiful. I like the stenciling with the flower stamped on top. I want to remember that! The negative use of the tag die fooled me a bit. It actually recedes which I didn't understand at first. I wondered why did you stack up the punched holes? Now I get it! The ribbon wraps around the negative tag frame. This is really clever! I'd like to put this one into my favorites. Creative ideas going on here. Hope all has gone well with your move and that you get settled in & back to more stamping again soon. TFS

You moved to TN? OMGosh, Irene, what happened to Florida? You're closer to me know. Where are you in TN.
I've missed seeing you in the gallery. So glad you left me a comment because I stopped looking for you for awhile. Your card is wonderful. Love the stencil and your passion for CAS comes through as it always did. What a wonderful card. Your mom will love this. Hugs, Irene.
