Oh, what a grand challenge we had today for Ways to Use it: Watercolor your background
Today was the 1st day I've attempted to use bisters. I had a few that were horrendous so I had to toss them. I didn't absorb the run off from the top, because I happened to like the effect.

Lovely scene.....like a Japanese lady admiring an ancient scroll is a museum. Your work on the screen panel with the gold embossing using bisters turned out exquisitely, Anne. Love the whole feeling of serenity doing it mostly in greens.

Oh my, just what everyone else has said! You have constructed an exquisite scene. I love the gold embossing over that beautiful watercolored background. Picking up the gold with the ties and candy dots adds richness to the tableau. I particularly love the textured Japanese paper. I am sure I have some of that in my stash somewhere. You are a master of the Asian scene. Love it!

Your cards are so gorgeous and elegant, Anne. The creativity in designing this card is amazing. How cleaver to use a garden steak to hang your work of art. The blues and greens look like swirling water, and I love the Asian woman admiring the art. Into my favs.

Wow, Anne!! This is stunning! I love the watercolor background against the gold embossed image - wow! I've not ventured here myself, but I so admire that you've made a gorgeous card with this technique! Perhaps one day I shall try it - sooner than later too - hehe!! Saw this in the favorites thread and see why! Hugs, sweet friend!
