Aloha! While you are reading this greeting, I am enjoying a week in the sun on the Big Island of Hawaii. Through the wonders of the Internet I am able to host this challenge from afar!
This week's Color Challenge is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Old Olive with the dessert option of using Layers--at least four of 'em! I used Bermuda Bay for the darkest layer of the flower, then Coastal Cabana for the middle step, and then Coastal Cabana, stamped off once, for the largest, lightest step. Likewise, I stamped the splotchy stem in Old Olive, then switched to the smooth stem stamp and stamped off once before stamping right over the first stem. I will say this stamp set has a bit of learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite fun and effective!
Love that Irresistibly Yours DS paper, too!
Thanks for looking, and please play along with us this week.

LOL---how dare you rub it in that you are sunning over there while we have below zero days coming up and one night 20 to 30 below with wind chill--hunkering down here---make cards. Sweet card and the the colors just make it even better and layers add to your card. I cannot wait as I am getting this stamp set this week so playtime coming up. Enjoy your sunny trip.

What a gorgeous card. The teal is so reflective of Hawaii's beaches. The image is gorgeous. The whole card is just darn gorgeous. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.
