Jen gave us a challenge today to do the two step stamping....she did say we could use our imagination. Today is a very emotional day for me. After 44 years living on our farm, we are signing papers today to sell it. I needed something to occupy myself until this afternoon. I always find painting and card making relaxing. I started by painting the flowers on some lilac homemade paper. After it was dry I doodled lines to resemble the two step stamps . Thanks for looking.

Even in the midst of sadness, you have created something beautiful! You will create beautiful new memories in your next home, and you will still, always, have the wonderful memories of your farm. I hope it all goes well for you.

Oh Linda, I can feel the sadness in your card description. 44 years is such a long time. My heart and prayers for happier days go out to you. Hopefully making your beautiful card helped you through this difficult day.

Beautiful card, Linda, love the lilac paper and your flowers look so pretty!! Wow, that is a big decision you have made to sell your farm, can only imagine how you feel - I hope your future plans work out for you and, no doubt, mean a lot less work??!
