Jen gave us a challenge today to do the two step stamping....she did say we could use our imagination. Today is a very emotional day for me. After 44 years living on our farm, we are signing papers today to sell it. I needed something to occupy myself until this afternoon. I always find painting and card making relaxing. I started by painting the flowers on some lilac homemade paper. After it was dry I doodled lines to resemble the two step stamps . Thanks for looking.

Out of your sadness came a gorgeous creation. The colour is perfect and your painting..well only one word can describe it..SPECTACULAR!! So sorry this is truly a sad day but there comes a time for new beginnings. To-day is that day but you have your beautiful art to comfort you.

This is gorgeous, Linda! Best wishes for the changes in your life. It's hard to move on and leave our family home behind. But sometimes, it turns out to be a real blessing. I hope that's the case with you.

Love the richness of the colors that you have used on this beauty, Linda.... The flower petals literally jump off the card, giving them a great 3d effect...
