Instead of using white ep on black, I used gold ep on black. So does that make what I did here "gold magic"? All that has nothing to do with today's challenge where we were to use a heart on our card. I did just that.......details....
Stamps a new to me Penny Black image which was in the shape of a heart and had hearts within the shape. Pretty cool. I stamped it with versamark then eb with gold. Colored the images with w/c pencils only didn't use any water.
Cut this out with wave scissors then ran a gold leaf pen around the edges. Set aside.
The bg white panel, stamped another new to me image from Hero Arts using vm and gold ep. Also gold leafed the edges.
Took a scrap os misc dp, ran it through the cb then sanded the top, brayered vm on and clear ep'd which qualifies this for Monday's TLC challenge.
Put all my panels on a dark brown AC card popping up the heart. I think this is kind of cool looking, don't you?
Well, I am off to the dentist for a cleaning. Will be back later to comment if I don't fall asleep! hehe All that fresh air cleaning pools and being a year older makes this old lady tired! hehe.......TFL :0)

Sis, this is gorgeous. I love the colors you used and the background too. This is one technique that you have explained to me that I think I might be able to try. Thanks for the special one on one class.
hugs,

Well just look at you go w/your gold pen! That's really a neat image too, russian spy! the gold embossing on black is one of my faves. You did it justice with your black gold. Your image reminds me of the summer bags I always get by Laurel Birch. Super cool, my firend.
