Due to some family issues, our Queen Mother was called away to Florida, and she announced there would be no QFTD contest this week! Before Anne could get through security at the airport, Mutnik tossed a dart and declared Anne the Queen. We're all taking on the monumental task of casing one of Anne's cards, and on her return, she'll find her mailbox filled with happy mail!
While trying to pick a card that wasn't too far out of my league, I remembered that I really got Anne's dander up when I had the audacity to call this card quirky! Actually, I called it classy, elegant AND quirky, but regardless, it got AnnieJo riled up.
Mine is no elegant Queen Anne chair, set on an animal print rug... it's just a squeaky old rocking chair out in the apple orchard. No silver slipper for me, I prefer Birkenstocks. No cork, but sand. In Anne's honor, I (gasp) actually cheated on this one and didn't even color the image... it was a freebie included in an order from Ellen Hutson. Although I did use some lovely green satin ribbon Anne sent me, I'll probably get called on the carpet about using the bow easy, but I can't tie a bow like she can.... I need props.
Hurry back Anne... we miss you! At least Phyllis got her wish to keep the crown a bit longer!

Hey, you think you got in trouble for " quirky" - wait'll she gets a look and thinks YOU THINK she is ready for a rocking chair - no stinking way!! HOWEVER, she will LOVE how you put this card together in her honor - great job!!

WHAT? Did I see the words easy bow making machine in your narrative. Needless to say, I'm appalled and shocked and totally fired up over that. I can hardly believe what I read. Now that is definitely a shocker.
Ms Broom, despite how you referenced my regal chair in such a horrifying way, I shall rise above that and acknowledge that your card is delightful even thought I saw those 2 words you placed on the side over there. Yes, indeedy, I did. This too I shall overlook because this too shall pass.
Ms Broom I love your card! Your free image turned out to be wonderfully awesome. Colored to perfection I might add. Perfect autumnal colors with those papers and leaves. Having said all that, let me assure you this is just one stellar card.
Thank you so much for making mention of the card that caused me to trip into a downward spiral that I have yet to see the end of, but, alas, you have managed to overlook all that as history, so too shall I.
Thank you so much for your very kind words above (I have to read between the lines) and for taking card to make such a beautiful card. From my heart comes gratitude not just for your card but also for our fun and whimsical commaderie. That alone is precious, my friend.
