still sticking with my goal of participating in the sketch challenges. i'm thankful for those who have been leaving encouraging comments because they're right - the more i do these, the less intimidating they are.
i watercoloured the image with watercolour paints, distress ink and watercolour pencils and popped it on foam tape. because this is a birthday card for my daughter's boyfriend, i left off pearls or gems, although i couldn't resist adding stickles to the flower centres. thanks for looking.

I'm so glad you did another sketch challenge, Linda!! You certainly aced this one!! What adorable mice, impeccably colored as usual, and wonderful colors. I can't imagine that your daughter's boyfriend would be anything but completely tickled by this wonderful card. Keep up with terrific work!!!

Perfect!! The PB image caught my eye.
It's true, the more you do the sketches, the easier it becomes. I used to find them SO hard. OK, so this week I did find it hard, but on the whole they don't intimidate me like they did a couple of years ago. Hope you find the same .
Love your choice of colours on this, bright and spring-like.

Linda, silly girl! With your talent and extraordinary coloring abilities, there's no way you should be intimidated. You have th sweetest images, and this paper is so wonderfully soft and just so perfect for this card.
