OMG - I've had such a hard time getting to Martie McGraw's house. When I finally rolled into the Big Easy, the Fat Tuesday celebrations were going full tilt boogie. I followed the balloons and when I spied Curt flying high in the sky, I knew I'd made it to Martie's house. I drug my tired self up the walk, but was stopped at the door by a mysterious masked man! He wouldn't let me in until I guessed who he was. Gave up trying, took a little snooze, and when I woke up, I got a glimpse of his bald head. Mystery solved! He's none other than Martie's uncle, Dr. Phil McGraw!
The mask:
Cut mask shape and flower layers from glitter mat stack.
Decorated with rhinestones, fiber and sequined ribbon.
Hardest part was trying to photograph it!
I know one little girl who's gonna love this!

Darn it! I told Phil to lay low! He's always wanting to get in on the lime light! I hope he didn't start giving you a bunch advice about how to be inspired by the teapot each week! He's been hassling Curt about the whole, you can make it as a stuntman thing!!!
Sorry about that....let's go take his mask away from him. Its so cool we need to get it framed in a special glass Martie McGraw's 1st Celebration showcase!
This is so awesome. So creative. I love what you did with all the punches! Its so festive! Honestly, I think you could actually wear this to a real Mardi Gras! Whoot!

Oh a darling mask...love the colors and the fibers...so Dr Phil is still trying to drum up biz huh?...well, I'm not sure any of us teapotters want to be rid of our obsessions so he may have to look elsewhere....

Oh Ms Hilda Broom isnt this just the thing and the story to go along with it. I love your style of writing; very witty and right to the point. So it's phil mcgraw? I was hoping they'd revoke his license by now, but I guess if say the case is closed, let me assure you I am a believer! Your mask is sheer genius and your accessoried fibers, etc is all that and a bag of chips, too. Fabulous work, Dahling.
