This is for Cindy's Teapot Tuesday Challenge 76. I have never played in this challenge and am in awe by the ongoing story. I guess it will take time to catch up. It sounds like some fun goin's on around here. I just got home from work and wanted to try my hand at a free hand apple tree in a field. I used dry brushes and sponges to add the color and used the little mini fern image from my Kittie Kits Outdoor Master to add texture to the ground and tree top. I added the apples with a SU red marker.

Kittie, I am totally impressed not only with your card but w/the reality that you could create a card as wonderful as this after work! the coloring is really way beyond my comprehension, and I must say Kittie's Kit is one fabulous addition to the RubberNecker line. Just amazing!

Woot! Kittie is in the house! Kittie, your scene is just beautiful! Love the softness of your gorgeous tree! I think I need more practice! Your scene just flows and is so soft! Yep, note to self, more practice!

If you have a zany sense of humour you'll fit right in, Kitty - or even if you just enjoy reading everybody else's back stories. Welcome to your first tea-party. I am sure by now you've had enough of Bertie's apple martinis that it's all a bit of a whirl anyway. You've brought a real touch of elegance to the orchard with this beautiful CAS scene. And just exactly the ribbon I wanted for my card and couldn't find.

Wonderful apple tree, Kittie! It'll be easy for Annie to gather all those apples on the ground...that is, if they're not wormy like so many of the fallen apples!!! Glad to have you at the teaparty.
