We're off to meet up with Uncle Beeford Bumble in Mississippi for today's tea party. Busy Bee and I found this poem and would like to dedicate it to Uncle Beeford:
There was a man who loved the bees,
He always was their friend;
He sat around upon their hives,
But they stung him in the end!
Hope Uncle Beeford's bottom side is OK by the time we get to the party!! By the way, how'd he get those "boys" out of the hive anyway? Aren't they supposed to stay in the hive and tend to the queen while the girls go out and do ALL the work? I think the girls need a break (or brake), so they're the ones who need to join us at the tea party!!
Thanks for taking a peek!
ETA: I just found out there's a thread here on SCS for these challenges now!

Very cute! Glad your bee came to the tea party to make sure everyone gets a "brake" when they need it!

Yaaay! You made it to the tea party. Your card is adorable, and I love the sign he's carrying. I have to agree with Nikki about gittin' stung in the keester, though! LOL!

That sign is such a good idea. I love how sweet/happy this bee looks and the sentiment is perfect for the card. What a great card.
