My little birdie is takin' a shower here! lol When I saw the challenge for today, I knew exactly what image I was going to use. This WS birdie behind that shower curtain is just too cute. Plus, the curtain was the perfect way to put pleats on my card!......details.....
Stamped my image, clear eb it on white cs. Colored with copics which now I am missing one. How the heck did I loose one? I am so confused!!!! Cut this out using a narrow oval coluzzle. Cut out a larger narrow oval for layering. Sponged one red and lightly sponged the other faded jeans. Put the two together and faux stitched them together in a zigzag style.
Stamped the shower curtain part of the image twice on velum using a stamp a ma jig. Colored with copics, cut out and pleated, glued on.
Took a piece of regular 8 1/2 by 14" vanilla paper, scored it, pleated it and stamped the flowers and circles, colored with copics and sponged on some more color. Put this on my white card that I also sponged faded jeans.
Computer generated the sentiment. Not sure where that came from. Like what would I use this card for with a sentiment like that! Am I crazy or what? LOL Anyway, put this altogether and Wal-La! A card was born!
Well, tell me what you think! ...Any suggestions as to where I might have "lost" my copic marker?......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! So, are you a member of the jury now?

Cathy, this is just too funny. I love your pleated shower curtain. I had to laugh when reading the comments. Especially Judy and Connie Jo's comment to look in the fridge. I don't know if you have seen the commercial for Alzheimers where the husband finds the keys in the fridge. My kids love it. I am always losing my keys. Their statement is always to look in the fridge now. Now I don't think you have Alzheimers so I am going to suggest looking in your underwear drawer. (Just don't ask!!)

I triple de dipple ((Heart)) this card! LOVE how you used pleats! Your layout is adorable, too, and that IMAGE is just toooo much fun! The ducks near my house do not show this much restraint...they just bathe in the nude right in the local lake with their tail feathers straight up in the air...sheesh! Must be Britney Spears's duck relatives, giggle!

Your copic must be hiding under your bow easy.
Your pleated shower curtain is perfect! What an adorable card, Cathy! You just always rock it up, girl! Love it!
