This is way out of my normal zone, especially after a wonderful and fun teapot Tuesday with Mothermark. I love the sketch Rox. You really know how to come up with some beauties. Okay, here's what I did.....
I am using two new stamp sets this month from Clear Dollar Stamps today. My sheet music stamp was smaller than the #1 panel, but I used it anyway. I stamped it a couple of times on white cs and clear ep it. used the distressing edge tool then scrunched it up in to a ball to distress the whole thing. I ran the ink pad over top and on the edges. Put this on some misc. dp. Then put the #1 panel on a white card with sponged edges.
#2 panel is just black cs.
#3 panel is a circle cut out of misc. dp using my coluzzle, added faux stitches on the edges.
#4 panel, I stamped the keyboard and sentiment clear eb'ing both. Colored black keys with a copic marker and the white keys with copic paint. Sponged edges and around images. Faux stitched the two corners.
Put the rest of the panels together. Stamped the tuba using versa mark and gold ep, colored it in with copic marker then cut it out and popped it up on the #2 & #3 panels.
Put some cork dots in the corners to help this out. Not sure if I like it yet. So, what do you think?........TFL :0)

I just cant believe what you can do to paper and image! This is just glorious. Yeah, I know you think it's out of your comfort zone, but it's really not; that's fairly obvious. It might not be your preferred way to masterfully create card, but it's fabulous nonetheless. Love those images and what you've done here. Oh, I have to think clear dollar stamps couldnt have selected a more talented person than you, nutmeg, to showcase these stamps.
BTW, did you Dehorah above has an IQ in the 4 digit range?
I guess she's not too smart though since she had to depress the enter key twice. Us, with our single digit IQ's at least know how to hit the enter key once and send it on it's way.
I'm telling you, watch that girl!

Tuba! Bwahahaha! Do you know how big a tuba is??? Snort! Well, the only reason I know was because I was in band! I played a base clarinet because I wasn't talented enough to pay a real clarinet! Hee! But I know the difference between a tuba and a french horn! A tuba is big enough to have a tea party in! Giggle! Hey, that gives me an idear!!!!
YOur card is awesome....I love the look of it! Another challenge you just rocked.....Thanks for being a fun tea potter too!

I think it's creative, imaginative and SO YOU Mutnik!!! Your cards are so fun to look at. All the elements just come together in your own unique style - and, I mean that in a totally good way. Don't let Anne Ryan try to twist my words and make this an negative remark. I just wanted to cover my bases. She's been so nice lately. Wonder what's up????? Enjoy it while it lasts!!! TFS!!!

Cathy, this is beyond amazing, beyond fabulous... beyond words.. I love it. The distressed sheet music, the FRENCH HORN, the sponged edges making your card glow, they are all wonderful elements on your card. My dd #2 plays FRENCH HORN. She started on trumpet and her band teacher switched her in 7th grade. She loves playing it. It is such a difficult instrument to play.

I think it's wonderful! Even your tuba ... LOL.
Charming set ... love the bg music. I acquired a similar bg music stamp and have yet been inspired to use it. Mayhaps this is the nudge I needed?
