It was an interesting technique...Lynn and Kathy, I think I need to use the full sheet of tt the next time though! Thanks for the fun. I used the Monday MOJO sketch 70 for my layout.
I am so proud of myself for using hoarded paper and embellishments from K&Co Urban Rhapsody! I cut strips of paper for the faux mosaic inbetweens and used Candy Turquoise embossing powder in the. The #1fan is a raised embellishment...I just love it! The brown matting is Brazzill linen texture. The card base is GP white cs.
I'm sticking this in the mail this evening along with my university payment! DH and I are his #1 fans!!! Thanks for having a look and thanks so much for your comments.

Wow, Susan! I can't stop looking at your beautiful card! Gorgeous papers - good for you to splurge and use a little! It's hard, though! The turquoise embossing is fantastic! Great layout and wonderful image and sentiment!
