Well after weeks of not being able to play in the challenges I got to make a challenge card today!
I used a dark purple Velum, and a lighter lavendar velum for the back of the star pieces and I used a very shimmery metallic silver and gold heavy card stock from SU as the frames of the star pieces.
I then Cute a Metallic Silver piece with my Scalloped Square Nestie, and and then cuttled a Lovely lilac piece with the dots folder then corner rounded the corners of the lilac piece.
I mounted the whole thing onto Basic Gray CS and did two bows with sheer white organza ribbon from SU.
I took a paint brush and shimmerized the insides of the star areas I did the deep purple velum with royal purple shimmerz, and I did the lavendar vellum with lilac lace shimmerz. They are very sparkly now!!! It did take my colors of the vellum down just a bit, but the shimmerz was worth it!!!
Let my know what you think!!!
I have a whole tutorial and more cropped images of this card on my blog as well!!!

Heather, this is totally outside my realm of skill. I cant believe how gorgeous this is! Talk about fabulous, girl, it's right here in the gallery! I applaud how you were able to take punches and create such a masterpiece! Your vellum is spectacular and your glitter paint is the perfect finishing touch to such a magnificent card. My compliments; this is spectacular, Heather!
