I cringe every time I throw away the plastic containers that hold crystal light or lemonade. So tonite I took the wrapper off one and covered it in checked paper. The containers are the perfect size to hold pens. What else could I put in it to make a cool gift?
Be honest, is this lame? I don't think I like the big piece of night of navy cardstock behind the roses...

I don't think this is a lame idea at all - I am known as the "Queen of stamping anything but a card" in my neck of the woods. I love the colors you used. If you don't like the Night of Navy as it is, why not try stamping your roses on white CS and instead of cutting them out, mat them on the Night of Navy and adhere the whole piece to the container and the ribbon around the whole thing.

I've been saving my containers just waiting for inspiration. I LOVE your idea!

not lame...I think you're very talented! Just think of it as blazing a trail...everyone will be doing crystal light containers because of you! It's terrific.
No, it is not lame! I just recently decorated a Crystal Light container using the stamp set Fun Filled for my SIL b-day present. I put a gift certificate inside it. It's great when you can take something that most people throw away and come up with something creative!
