DH went snowboarding today after doing some pools first. What a great guy. I did my pools, came home still not feeling good. So to take my mind off my stuffy head I made a card......details....
This is for both the TLC and CAS challenges for today. My biggest question is, do the stickles ever dry? Sheesh. I should have read the instructions a little closer, especially the part where Joan said to put your card together THEN paint with the stickles. I did manage to get it taped together without toooooo much smearing. hehe
I tried the kissing part for the CAS challenge. I inked up the weathered bg stamp, then "kissed" it with a tree from lovely as a tree. Sadly, it didn't work so I must admit I cheated. I re-stamped the tree only on the cs. Sorry.
Cut the panel out using a nestie, sponged on color around the edges. Layered with black cs then put on a kraft card.
Made a cheater bow using some very pretty ribbon that came on a bottle of wine from a customer. Maybe I should be drinking the wine. hehe Added a dragonfly charm. Done.....stickles still wet. hehe
Well, I'm going to put on my pj's and hit the couch. Hopefully after dinner I will be back to comment....have a great week!....TFL :0)

Beautiful card and I totally hear ya on the Stickles! Those cards are the ones that sit out overnight before I can touch them or finish 'em up for fear of messing them up.

I love how you have the weathered bg going through the taupe part and the white. Your oak tree looks cool with the stickles and I like the bow from the wine too.
