I tried to match the colors as best I could. I used my new brayer, a gift from Ardodd. I got the brayer yesterday in the mail and was hoping to get to play with it today. I was already thinking sky and then I saw Faith's sunset. I can't begin to compare to Faith's beautiful card, so I decided to make mine a sunrise. I used a teal, pink and yellow marker on acetate then rolled my brayer over the colors to blend them. I used a 1" circle for my mask for the sun. I shaded my sun with chalks. My mountains were a torn piece of paper as my mask. I stamped the flowers from my brushed florals set.

This is such a beautiful nature scene!! I love how soft and subtle your sky is. You did a great job and it has a beauty all it's own. I love the flowers in the foreground, it's almost like you can touch them.

MariLynn, your sunset turned out just beautiful. I love those colors.
It looks like you found some good matches for the in-colors. I'm not sure if you realized it, but I thought I would point out that the top note die cuts I sent you all were using the new colors (except the neutrals). Maybe you already knew that.
Well, it looks like you got the hang of the brayer for sure!! Great card!

How perfect to receive a brayer that got inked up today, MariLynn. If this is your first attempt at brayering, yikes, I cant imagine what we'll see in the future. This is just gorgeous. Beautiful beyond belief.
