This is my card for today's ways to use it challenge. The challenge was to make a card using something in your spice cabinet or kitchen.
This is my story!
1. You wonder about the title of my card? Well, I spent over an hour this morning trying to build an igloo out of sugar cubes for Peter the Penquin whom was created specifically for this new dwelling!
2. I suppose I am not a builder as I failed miserably and pretty much got sick of dealing with sugar all over my stamping counter and scrapped the whole idea.
3. Peter is a little sad as he was looking forward to a new home but he'll just have to live with Mom and Dad until something else pans out!
4. So, that brought be back down to the kitchen with very little time to throw something together.
5. I made this card in about 30 minutes. Yikes! Coulda done a better job probably but oh well.....
6. I got this cute little tea-pot cork board at Joanne's for a buck and the awesome little acrylic pocket box can be found at:

Seeing this clever plastic holder and how creatively you used it is worth Peter not having an igloo. Doubt if he will even notice it is missing as he likes to be outside so much.

Thirty minutes? Gee.....wish I could make something this pretty in thirty minutes. I love these funky leaves and the gingham cs and ribbon. How perfect, too, since you are now doing Teapot Tuesday challenges on your glob (only you have a glob, you know!)
I do so hope you will return to conquer the sugar-cube igloo for Peter Penguin. I gotta see that!!!
