Ok, I got this idea in my head sometime yesterday when I was looking through the Sock Monkey gallery! I saw some great cards, and I suddenly had an idea that I should make a bunch of banana peels, then I thought I should make Mr. Monkey slipping on a pile of peels! I used markers to color the peel part of the banana, and stamp onto the base of the image, and colored in with markers. A couple of the peels I actually stamped and cut out, and paper pierced the banana in his hand. The monkey is also paper pierced, and I cut his legs off to reposition to look a little more like he was flailing. I also cut a blank piece I traced for his mouth, and used 1/4" circle punch to make the "o" mouth. I made his eyes stand out a little more with the chocolate chip marker, and the eyebrows. To create the sentiment I had to use other stamps for the oops part from the So Many Sayings...I used my stampamajig to line up the individual letters after coloring the letter I needed with a marker. The buttons are tied with hemp and popped up with dimensionals. This is my first attempt at the scallop edge square, so it isn't perfect. TFL! I really like how this turned out and I hope you all find it really cute. :-)
