This looked a lot cuter when I was making it in my dreams this morning.
Even tho it isn't "summer themed", I think it's appropriate for Jeanne's summertime challenge. Here's my reasoning on this: If we don't make Christmas cards in the summer when it's too hot to go outside, then come December 5 or 10 or 18 or 23rd and we're going to run out of cards!!! Not to mention, if we happen to go to a craft show and sell more than we expected, then we're going to be rushing around in December neglecting the shopping and housework just to make more cards!
SO. Make Christmas cards in July when it's too hot to go out before 6 pm and enjoy that glass of wine and good bok.
So that's how I decided this would be an appropriate "summer card". I'll deal with the challenge police when they come to the door! Hey, wait! What's that buzzing sound I hear coming from over in Geronimo?

I've seen many cards from this challenge posted on the gallery and appreciated every cards but yours is what they couls qualify as stepping out side of the box but not because of the theme, I mean that full hight snowman ( not confined to the square) A step into a success above and beyond meeting that challenge!!! I hear ya, sister!!!!! I was thinking just that very thing....'I'd better get to work on my Christmas stuff or I'm going to run out of time!!' I will be your character witness on the stand should your Challenge charges come to trial!!! I'm pretty sure they'll be willing to look the other way due to this incredibly fabulous card, so you really shouldn't worry too much anyway!!!!! ;)
