The changes made to Teneale's card, found here, Roses for Mum by {Teneale} at Splitcoaststampers , are as follows:
1. choices of stamp sets
2. colours of cardstock on all layers except the top one
3. Twill stamped tone-on-tone, instead of French Script, on the base card
4. French Script on the bottom layer, instead of the stitching along its edges.
The first 2 steps on the tulips are done in Almost Amethyst. The first layer was stamped second generation. (For those who just recently discovered the joys of this craft, that means stamped off once to remove some of the ink). The second step was done regular stamping. The third step was done in Lovely Lilac, again stamped second generation. This colour is very assertive and can overpower quite easily.
The leaves were stamped in Mellow Moss in both first and second generation.
Frugal Tip: The ribbon, as you'll notice, does not go all the way around. I did a classic bow in the ribbon and affixed the bow to the cardstock with a mini glue dot, then cut a couple of inches off and anchored it under the lovely lilac layer.
