This is my second shot at today's Inspiration Challenge. I had wanted to try the emboss resist technique and thought this would be a great time for it.
I must admit that this morning's sample came before I had looked at anyone else's submissions in the gallery. I used a different bedding set than the one highlighted in the challenge. That one was easy for me to do. This one was more of a challenge for me, but I wanted to try it. Now though, I have definitely drawn some inspiration from so many of the samples submitted today. There has been so much talent today! In part I was inspired not only by the gorgeous fabrics in the inspiration piece but also by Joan Erwin and Kharmagirl and probable many others.
I stamped with White craft ink on glossy white cs using stamps from Simply Said and Seeing Spots. Then I embossed in white and brayered on Rub Red, More Mustard and Soft Sky. For the Sentiment I used VersaMark then Chocolate chip ink and embossed in clear. For the chocolate matting behind the sentiment I rubbed VersaMark directly onto CC CS and clear embossed.
Using the glossy cs definitely made my brayering come out better than any previous attempt! I did not realize how long it would take to dry so did smudge just a bit but I think I was able to "fix" it sufficiently. Mounted it all on CC.
Kept the card simple... only one little ribbon for trim. While I would NEVER pick these colors for a card to send to anyone, knowing the inspiration piece it came from makes this make more sense. LOL!

Lovely embossing and panels - I always love cards with three panels, no matter what! Thanks for coming back and making another card - it's great to see people having fun with the challenge.
