The J is painted with metallic green paint on the back and sides. Using liquid glass, I adhered blue dewdrops in the centres of the blue flowers, and greendewdrops in the centres of the green flowers. There didn't seem to be enough 'focus' in the colour scheme to me with the equal amounts of green and blue in the pattern and dew drops, so I inked the edges in an aqua blue chalk ink to finish it off.
These monograms are thin wood/masonite from Hobby Lobby. To adhere the patterned paper, I applied a thin coat of Martha Stewart Glittering Glue to the top of each letter, then placed the letter glue-side down on the back of a sheet of patterned paper. Make sure to let the glue dry for a little while before trimming away the excess paper using a utility knife -- if you do it too soon, the paper will tear into the letter rather than cut away cleanly.
Thanks for looking!!!!!
