I decided that I would use my Cricut Bags, Tags, Boxes, and more cartridge for today's Limited Supply Challenge. We were asked to use a shape for a card other than what we saw as traditional (square, circle, etc.). So, there was this CUTE flower pattern, and, lo, and behold, the Cricut would cut it in a mirror fashion. Yeah! It would even cut a circular window in the front panel!
After that, the trouble began. I started with another color of flower from my scraps (another part of the challenge). I must have cut three separate cards. Then I cut some patterned paper to see how it would coordinate. Well, I just didn't stick with that enough to make it work.
I ended up using Yo Yo Yellow (now you KNOW I was in my scraps!). Forgetting the whole *yellow and blue make green* idea, I doodled on the yellow with some Tempting Turquoise. Yeesh... green.
I like the card... kind of... I think if I weren't so bleary-eyed, I could have incoporated some other elements that I liked more than the doodling.
I did love this challenge. It's just amazing how I get in that, *Oh, just one more thing...* mode.
