My great friend LeisaJane's card inspired by Rose's Tea Dress in Titanic was the inspiration for the inspiration challenge today! You can see her card here:
My final creation isn't anything like what was in my head last night, but I really like it. I didn't have any dark green ribbon, so I colored some white satin ribbon with my Garden Green marker and it looks like velvet- what a great technique I picked up from some smart lady here on SCS.
Love the challenge- and TFL, Diane

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the stamped CB background and the little popped up roses! The ribbon looks wonderful! You've truly captured Scarlett's gown!

Diane, your card is absolutely stunning! Love your faux velvet ribbon. I have died lots of ribbons, but not satin. Also your textures, layout, brads and watercolor mini stamps are just perfect. BTW, anyone have an extra Watercolor Mini stamp set that needs a home? I have a stamping friend that wants one REALLY badly! Thanks again Diane for your inspiration.....your friend, Nancy

You colored the ribbon yourself?! I've said it before....you are truly the ribbon queen. I love what you've made. The background is so pretty...love the flowers. Just a fantastic interpretation of Scarlett's dress....beautiful job!
