we've had an extremely rough past year. my mom lost her husband last May, then my brother unexpectedly passed away in Jan. she recently decided to move near us and we believe it will be good for both of us. she just closed on her house yesterday and will be moving all of her things here tomorrow. i thought she'd like to have this in her new home. the supah nice, Michelle, sf9erfan, sent me this sentiment. i thought it went well w/ this dp and choc ribbon. mom's not a frilly-frou-frou kind of person, so i think she'll like it. thanks Michelle and if you're still w/ me, thanks for letting me share my story!!
the sentiment says: "You don't raise sons, you raise Heroes. And if you treat them like sons, they'll grow up to be heroes." it's completely fitting because my brother was active duty Army, a combat medic, and had served in Afghanistan and treated many people and children.

Angela, what a moving story of life's challenges. this is just so beautiful for your mom. for sure, it will bring tears to her eyes ~ that sentiment so moves the heart! I am so sorry for both your losses. Such tragedy is hard to accept and understand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom as she embraces a new chapter in life.
