Sharon Johnson's challenge today is to use Black & White + 1 more color. Her challenge can be found here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers.
I made this bg paper using Adirondack (stream) ink and copper mixative MONTHS ago and I recently picked up with bolt of beautiful turquoise satin ribbon in the $1 bin at Michaels and thought " Wow that would look great with B/W" and this card was born. For the sentiment I used a scrap piece of white shiny paper ... stippled with SU tempting turquoise ... wiped with tissue then stamped the sentiment. The plain white bg was TOO plain for me so I CB'd it with the textile folder. Much better! Hope you like it! Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous card, Darlene. I like that you put the 'water' on your sentiment panel. Just a little touch, but it adds so much to the overall look. Great job.
