This is my submission for WT167, to make a masculine card. This was great for me because I needed another one for Father's Day, and this gave me the boost to get one done!
A very special thank you to Cerinda for sending me these marvelous Angler images! Please visit the RAK album in my gallery and leave her a comment, because she is such a sweetheart!
This image was stamped on watercolor paper so I did the same with the sentiment panel. I watercolored the images with Prisma Pencils and blended with Gamsol. The Sentiment was stamped then run through the cuttlebug with the distressed stripes folder, then heavily sponged with Tim Holtz Antique Linen, old paper and scattered straw.
The edges of the image were torn, distressed and heavily sponged and rolled in a few places. Brads were added as "nails" in the "sign", hemp was tied on to the brads and the fish was added on dimensionals. The BG for the images is Craft, also run through the CB and the card base is old olive.
Thanks for looking! Hope you like it!

Oops.... I forgot to say that I used the spritzer with Creamy Caramel to spritz a little splatter all over the images! Takes so long to edit a photo I just figured I'd make a comment!

Grace this is FANTASTIC. This is one of your best. I love this set. I traded it awhile ago and wish I had kept it. I think your coloring is enviable. I CANNOT color. I have tried and tried. I think I will come for a lesson when I get to NC. TFS

Just love the rugged feel of your card. Love the cb layers and nails in the sign. Great coloring and I love the dimension of the hanging fish on a line.

OMG! What a great card...I really like how you inked the Distress CB and used that for the sentiment and the BG. You also did a super job on the coloring...very nicely done. TFS!
