For a swap - you get a recipe and have to make a card using the required elements. This recipe had no real requirements other than no ribbon and a creative use of an embellishment.
Papers: Gable Green
Stamp: Tart & Tangy, A Muse's GOT MARGARITAS?
I used my nesties to cut a rectangle window in the card front and a reverse mask for the inside. The lemon/lime stamp stops where the opening stops. I used Kaleidoscope's Melon Melody for the oranges and limes and used the darkest green of that pad to stamp the GOT MARGARITAS? sentiment on the front.
My creative embellishment was the confetti glitter from the SU Occasions Mini to create a "salty rim" around the opening. I used crystal effects for glue because I wasn't sure what would keep the large glitter from falling off - it seems to work.
TFL!

I love the idea of using the chunky glitter as "salt" around the rim! What a creative idea! Great execution! I knew exactly what it was supposed to be before I read your explanation. Love it!

Just LOVE the glitter around the edge of your window! Even if it weren't to imply salt around the rim of a margarita glass, it's a neat effect, and I would not have thought to do that!
