I followed the technique and idea from Zindorf's punched vases tutorial, drew more inspiration from my husband's backyard oasis. He has pots like Michelle's vases only much larger and with many plants and cactus. So from these two wonderful people, I set about and created this card.
Check out Michelle's tutorial for the main directions.
Here is what I did differently. Used my coluzzle to cut out three sizes of ovals from white cs since I didn't have colored cs. I cut the tops and bottoms off like instructed. Then I brayered, that's right, brayered the color on each pot. Want to thank Michelle, because after following her other tutorials, I no longer am afraid of the brayer, still a little challenged, but not afraid. Anyway, did one in terra cotta, one in butterscotch, and one in three different colors-terra cotta, rust, butterscotch. Shaded each on the left side with a sponge, per her instructions.
Placed the three pots on the shaded line of a piece of vanilla cs. Once again, since I didn't have colored cs, I brayered red pepper, sunset orange, and sunshine yellow on white cs. Took my daisy punches and punched three different sizes of flowers. Doodled on the small ones. Stuck them on top of my pots, popping up a few here and there.
Layered all this onto dp and yellow linen cs and a teal card. I will be trying another version of this technique soon, mainly because this was fast and easy and turned out pretty darn good if I say so myself. In fact, my dh likes it the best out of all the cards I created this weekend, four to be exact. But who's counting....had a stressful week!
So once again........TFL.....and remember....comments are very encouraging and greatly appreciated! :0)

THis is an awesome version of Michele's card; I'm loving the punched pots & think I'll demo this at our next stamp club! Thanks to you both for the inspiration & detailed instructions!
