I used a combination of paper from Stampin' Up and Archivers for this card. The base is a white textured card stock from Archivers. The light purple is also from Archivers. The dark purple is Stampin' Up Lavender Lace. I used Lovely Lilac ink for the background flowers. The sentiment is typed in MS Word. I also used the Marvy Giga scallop square punch, Stampin' Up scallop punch and the Three for You flower punch and stamps.
For the envelope seal I layered two scallop punches - the top scallop has a 1 inch circle cut in the middle. I inserted the word niece which I printed out on the computer and punched with the Stampin' Up word window.
This is a perfect example of how I've been using the computer with my cards. I like that I can make them say anything I want and really personalize them. I also like to fuss with trying out different fonts and colors. It takes a lot more time this way but I really like the outcome.
