Both of these were fun challenges. I wasn't too sure about the colors, but now I actually like them. I got a little worried when I saw ACRYLIC, but it wasn't scary.
What I did: I made a wavy line to cut the dp and used scallop scissors to cut it. I really liked the paper, but it had too much white, so I used markers and a blender to color in the white and add more of the color I wanted.
The top section was bugged then I colored the raised sections w/ the side of a marker. I bugged a thin piece of acrylic (like the thick plastic your cb folders came in.) Acrylic/plastic, pretty much the same, right? I die cut it into the scallop circle and filled in the back side of the petals w/ stickles. I cut an extra flower and used it for the centerpiece.
I used the same die cut set to cut the scallop guava ring and the small blossom circle. Used the scallop scissors on the gray strip and paper pierced all three.
I glued the acrylic on top of the guava ring and attached the blossom circle on top w/ foam tape. The extra flower was attached on top. I colored a clear acrylic button w/ pastel sharpies and glued it on top. TFL
