I made this card for a Bridal Shower, where the couple had already been married a short while ago -- at a resort in the Caribbean. I painted the bride and groom accent piece to match the bride and groom, and I tried to hint at the beach, the ocean, and the sky in my background.
The shower was last night, and the bride noticed right away that the bride on the card had HER skin tone, and DIDN'T have the stereotypical pale skin. She was absolutely thrilled!
