 | | This card is my entry for Wednesday's Sketch Challenge. I pulled out Friendship Gardens and decided to "Prismacolor" with mineral spirits the gal with the flowers, and customize the kitty to resemble my kitty (in my avatar), "Peanut". I decided to turn my card horizontally, but discovered, that I should've turned the card layers horizontally...but I had already set all the wheels in motion, and decided, "oh, heck...let's just run with it." ; )
The background of the card itself was stamped in Summer Sun with Fresh Fillers, the White Layer was "Cuttlebugged' with the Swiss Dot embossing folder, the Pink Layer was stamped with Pretty in Pink with a leaf from Bodacious Bouquet. The SU sentiment is stamped in Adirondack Black, sponged with Pretty in Pink along the edges, and framed in Metal by JoAnn's with square Spring Green brads. I doodled along the edges of 2 of the layers (not so neatly - I don't know how Faith does it!). The wide grosgrain ribbon is pink, yellow, green & white from Michael's. Don't you just love my kitty, "Peanut"? |
