Here is my card for today's inspiration challenge, a beach charm bracelet. I was reminded of a special picture of my youngest son on the beach, this past summer. This picture is especially sentimental for me as it was a trip I took with my children within days of finally becoming a SAHM. It was the first thing my kids requested that we do. I chose the sentiment 'Bliss' to stamp on the tag because it reflects exactly how I felt that day. I was (and still am!) so happy to be with them that day with nothing to do but sit in the sun and eat ice cream with them. I also love this picture because my little boy is running and I always think of the Chariots of Fire music when I see it. His little swim trunks are falling down and you can see his little crack in the picture in the IRL. He was running towards some bright teal flip flops another beach goer had left in the sand to wade in the water.
This was my first attempt to try Michelle Zindorf's Flourishes as described in her blog tutorial. I so admire her work. I had trouble with my gel pen so I'm not pleased with mine but I will certainly try it again when my new pen arrives!
Thanks for reading all this and for looking!

You rocked this card! That picture is awesome - I love how you photoshopped it! It looks so cool and almost vintage! And your flourishes look great! What a special way to treasure your sweet memory!
