I made this neat spiral bound coaster calendar for my brother-in-law and his wife as a thank you for having my DH and myself up to their beautiful home in VT a few weeks ago. The picture is of their dog - Blue - sitting in her favorite spot at the top of the stairs looking out at the woods and snow.
I used Basic Grey Perhaps DP on the coasters as the colors go with the colors in their home. The calendar is freeware at www.redcastle.com Beate describes the dimensions to choose.
On the front of the book (not shown) I put a picture of the outside of their home with the 3 of them waving goodbye to us as we were leaving.
I stamped the sentiment 'Every Day is a gift' from Papertrey in cranberry crisp ink on a white oval framed with a cranberry crisp oval and mounted that on the corner of the picture with dimensionals.
This is a really fun project and a great tutorial.
