This reminds me of a pair of slacks I made for my daughter when she was five. Even at that young age she had some fashion sense about her and refused to wear those plaid slacks and very innocently said “Mom, if you like them so well, you wear them”.
I gave them to her friend who just loved them!
-I used the paper piecing technique for the little girlÂ’s rainy day ensemble.
-The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.
-I used Diamond Glaze on the puddle and raindrops. ItÂ’s the same product as Stampin UpÂ’s Crystal Effects.
-The flower tabs are a retired Stampin Up punch layered with a ¼” punch for the flower center, cut in half and glued to the card.
-Fiskars scallop scissors was used for the scallop edge.

Roxie, this is adorable and I love your story about your daughter! The paper piercing is awesome, that image is so cute and I really like the border treatment!
