Hi!This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge!
Markie wanted me to color 2 of these House Mouse images for him, one for his teacher for St. Patrick's Day, and one for his Aunt Hope! (My sister, who has just gotten FANTASTIC NEWS!!!)
So, I dragged out my Stampin' Up! Pure Color pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits and got to work. I colored both images in under 15 minutes.
(I first stamped the image 4 times in Basic Brown onto Whisper White and used two for "spare clovers!)
I used my Coluzzle and NEW MAT, (thanks to Speedy the Cat CHEWING all my other mats to bits!), to cut the focal image. Next, I used a Nestibilities Scallop to cut the Basic Black mat. I added Signo Pen Dots.
The make the sentiment, I inked the clover in the Pinch Proof scallop stamp with a SU! Old Olive marker. I then outlined it with my SU! Journaler. Then, I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment. I sponged on Always Artichoke around the punched edge.
The HodgePodge Hardware was colored with a Sharpie and then dots were added with a Signo Pen.
The two rectangles are designer paper by K&Company! LOVE IT!
The Old Olive background was run through my Cuttle Bug Swiss Dots folder.
The ribbon came from the Offray Outlet in Hagerstown, MD. It's one sided satin!
